Photos Galore
I’m up late again due to all of the requests to see the results of Jennifer’s second ultrasound session. Additionally, last night I finished posting photos from our trip to Michigan, my parents remodeled bedroom (proud of their work, my mom wanted me to post those for her), our second wedding anniversary, and our recent trip to Fresno.*whew*Enjoy them. Or else.
Columbus Photos
Rather than delay them any further in order to use the new photo template I’m working on, I’ve been requested to post the photos from our trip to Columbus, OH for Scott and Bronwen’s wedding (you’re welcome, Susan). Enjoy.I realize that the right hand column of the index page is getting a little unruly. I guess I’ll have to do something about that soon.
Batch Photo Job
It’s late and I want to go to bed. But first I thought I’d let you all know I’ve posted a slew of new photos from the past few weeks, including: weekend at Tahoe, weekend at Laguna Beach, weekend at Kirkwood, and Jennifer’s first ultrasound. Enjoy.
Upcoming Concert Page
I’ve written a script to check for upcoming concerts in the Bay Area for artists that I like. The script runs nightly and compiles the data from the concert tracking site Pollstar. They have a similar auto-notification service, but I found the 99 artist and venue limit was too, well, limitting for my interests. There was also no way to see an overview of all the concerts for a given area. I originally wanted the output to be included in the concert sidebar, but decided that there was just too much information to fit per line (I guess I could reduce it to just artist and date). I’ve updated the concert sidebar menu to include a link to this stand-alone page instead.
Site Updates
Well, the holidays have pretty much come and gone. I’ve posted a few more photo albums from the trip to Michigan, as well as a few photos I had forgotten I had taken at Rachel and Brian’s wedding rehearsal dinner back in October. I’m testing a new template that I put together using some of the new extensions in the BetterHTMLExport plug-in for iPhoto. Let me know what you think. I’ve also updated the Reading and Music sections based on the gifts I received over the holidays (thanks everyone!).
From Mickey to Magnums
I’ve added a few more albums to the photo gallery from our recent trips to Florida and Napa.We went down to Florida last weekend to visit our friends Jeff and Sara since we hadn’t done so in over three years (though we did see them at our wedding). We had a very nice, relaxing vacation filled with canoing, home improvement projects, amusements, and naps. This past weekend, my brother and his girlfriend Rachel were in town. We headed up to Napa Valley for the obligatory winery tours. This time, however, we threw a hot air balloon trip from Napa Valley Balloons into the mix. It was an experience not to miss!
October Photos
I’ve posted a number of new photographs taken at various points this month: Jennifer’s sister’s wedding, my climbing trip to Yosemite, a weekend at Lake Tahoe, and carving pumpkins for Halloween. I can hardly believe it myself. I actually posted some photos within a reasonable amount of time from when they were taken! Continue reading
Amoeba Strikes Back
I’ve finally updated my list of “Recent Music Acquisitions” due to my trip to Amoeba Records with Ian and Orla a few weeks ago. There were also two CDs that I had missed from the trip to England. Continue reading
Just Can’t Stop
Must. Post. All. Photos.I plowed my way through the the Europe trip photos this evening. It took me longer than expected because iPhoto is acting rather unstable. It’s forgetting the comments associated with some of the photos as well as completely forgetting what photos are in some of the albums between application launches. I’m going to have to be more careful in the future and submit a bug report to Apple in meantime. Well, maybe in the morning.Regardless, the photographs from the English countryside, Poland, Germany, and London are now up.
